Squiz Matrix Search is probably one of the best out-of-the-box search engines we’ve seen in a CMS, and we’ve implemented some pretty nifty solutions to date. Matrix features an indexing system for all your content and metadata, which when activated allows your users lightning fast connection to your content; and we all know how important a great user experience is.
Custom forms
“I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms”. If there’s a form you need on your website, no matter how complex, then it can be done with custom forms. Squiz Matrix provides a whole host of configurable features to build anything from simple contact forms to highly complex multi-part multi-page forms that have SPAM protection using CAPTCHA, Mollom Spam Check, or Honeypot Questions. Submitted forms can be routed to multi recipients or segmented into department based inboxes depending on query type, and receipt emails can be posted as confirmation, plus send to a friend is also an option.
Extensive integration and APIs
We just love how Squiz Matrix integrates with so many things; there’s data source connections (SQL, XML, iCAL, CSV, RSS, LDAP, SOAP), APIs (SOAP, REST, JavaScript and JSON), Google Analytics, Google Maps, and lots of Oauth (LinkedIn, Facebook).
